Maximizing IRA Incentives

So what is the Inflation Reduction Act, and why is this such a big deal for homeowners?

The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 has earmarked $8.8 billion in rebates for home energy efficiency and electrification projects.

Sam will be going into detail on how households can take advantage of these rebates and save money this winter on energy costs. The average 4-person household in Vernon County is eligible for $14,000 in incentives. Sam will show you what this means for you and your household.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Sam already, her work as as advocate for the residents of La Farge, the Town of Stark and beyond are extensive. In addition to serving as board Vice-President, Sam is a member of the La Farge Community Solar Committee as well as a community group focusing on rural community resiliency in the face of climate change.

We know that navigating the energy efficiency rebates and tax credits can be very confusing, and we're here to help! Request a one-on-one coaching session by completing the energy assessment, link at the bottom of this email.

Thank you for supporting VCED's mission to provide public education to folks in Vernon County and beyond. We know this kind of educational event is a vital step in helping folks take control of their energy use and keeping energy dollars in their own bank accounts. Feel free to forward this invitation to anyone who wishes to learn how to use the IRA rebates to save money on energy.
